Newbie from San Francisco

Hey everyone, just starting out here. Total newbie to real estate investing (besides a couple of months of reading and listening whatever I can get my hands on). I have a short term goal of getting my first property within the next year. I'm naturally a bit apprehensive about taking the leap as I feel like I know next to nothing about getting a good deal. Anyway, I'm here to learn and make some connections!

Thanks guys. Brandon Turner I downloaded the PDF when I joined about a month ago. It's been a great primer, and I've since gone to the library to learn a bit more in addition to picking up some recommended reading/listening from recommended books from the podcast. Thanks for the vote of confidence. Does being the next Donald Trump include getting a hairpiece once I go bald? I want to make sure I take notes on everything here :P

Marco Santarelli thanks for the advice Marco. I'm doing my best to just take the plunge find a deal sooner rather than later so I can learn the process. Your advice is very relevant to me as I'm just the type of guy to get stuck in the "analysis paralysis" I keep hearing so much about here.
