Hi everyone! I'm grateful and excited to join this amazing community.

My name is Yale, (like the University) and I am a recently licensed real estate agent here in Toronto, Canada. I want to focus on gaining financial independence and looking to purchase a couple of investment properties within the year. I came upon the BP Podcasts and was instantly hooked. I listen to at least one or two BP podcasts a day and continue to educate myself through all the recommended readings.

I recently joined the Real Estate field as a Sales representative/Administrator at my current Brokerage, I love my job and I love sales, and getting to know people, but I know that I need to start investing in myself to obtain my financial goals.

A challenge I'm facing is really taking that first step, and finding properties that are within my budget. I find that many of the listings on the MLS are not "good deals", and I find myself having to reach more outside of Toronto that seems to far away, such as Windsor, and Chatham, Ontario.

I'd love to connect with those in Toronto, Canada whether it's to get to meet, or just chat in general-I'm open and eager to learn and grow!

Greetings @Yale Park

I’m also from Toronto. We work with a team of investors. We have property from Chatham to Oshawa.

We’ve realized that it’s very difficult to find great deals in Southern Ontario. So we do a lot of our investing in the states. The one draw back it’s harder to get financing as Canadians. But we are able to buy 3-4 houses in cash instead on putting a downpayment on a house in Toronto.

We are active in Cleveland and in Gary Indiana. Reach out if you want to talk.

One love
