New to Investing in Tulsa, OK Area

After being a contractor for most of my working life and helping investors with their value add (not knowing at the time what that was). I have been listening to the real estate podcast for the last several months and am ready to start to become an investor so that with in the next 10 years I can retire comfortably.  I am the the type of person that doesn't sit a round a lot and at this time I am very busy with construction projects so checking back in here will be a challenge but will make an attempt to be diligent. I understand many aspects of real estate and many others I don't.  My biggest fear is that I won't get out of the way and people do their job.  I look forward to getting to know people that are in my area that are investing.
