New Investor Seeking Guidance to Real Estate Investing

Hello Bigger Pockets Community!

My name is Matt and I will be college grad in a couple weeks.  I have a job lined up in Cleveland, Ohio and with that I plans to move soon.  I listened to podcasts and I've read books that discuss the idea of house hacking, but I do not know anyone personally who has done it.  I like the idea of buying a duplex and renting one half out and living in the other half.  I really enjoy the city of Lakewood and would love to find a property there.  I have a friend from high school that would be interested in partnering up with me to do this.  I have saved up plenty of money for a down payment and wont have any student loans.  I am reaching out and trying to find more sources for education, so I feel more confident in pursuing this idea.  Thanks!
