Hello, I am Keenan and am an aspiring real estate investor.

I am currently a Licensed 1st Officer in the United States Merchant Marine. I travel the world resupplying US Navy vessels in port and at sea. While I have circumnavigated the world, crossed the equator, and even crossed arctic circles, I am missing what is most important to me now and that is being home. Over the past five years I have only been home for 4-5 months total. I am getting ready to get married to a wonderful woman who has supported me through this and I decided that I want to be home to enjoy life and not work away my life. I want to be there for my future family and never have to worry about money. That is my why and it drives me incredibly.

I am looking to take a land side job that I enjoy in the next couple years for my active income which will make me take a pay cut and I wanted to find a way to subsidize the loss with some investing and passive income. I figured starting to invest now will let me get the head start I want while I have a thriving W2 job.

That's how I landed here. I decided getting involved in real estate rental properties is how I want to do that. I have just started out on my journey but I am passionate and willing to put in the work to succeed. My eventual goal is to be able to live off of my real estate investments and have 100+ properties where I focus mainly on SFR and MFR to include flipping and rehabs.
