Newbie in AR looking for a mentor

My name is Robert Edgin. I'm a newbie looking to get into real estate investment and hoping to find a mentor to help me get started. I'm 35 years old and work full time as an X-ray tech In the capital city Little Rock, AR. I actually live just outside of Little Rock in Conway, AR. There is an abundance of rental properties here due to the 3 colleges and tons of college students that make up this town. I'm not sure where to get started as far as getting my first property and would love to network with some local people and learn some good skills in real estate investing
