Newbie investor Jon Banton from Liberty, Missouri

I'm married with five daughters so the dog and I are out numbered.  I've been a truck driver for 21 years and my wife is head of acquisitions for Habitat for Humanity restores. I don't have any real state/investing experience but I'm trying to learn what it takes to become a successful investor. My dreams and goals are to build generational wealth to pass down to my family so they don't have to struggle to make ends meet. I would like to invest in the inner city community's and other areas rebuilding homes for rental properties.                                                                                                                                                                  I do not have a great credit score and a bank account full of money so I know this whole idea of mine is pretty far fetched.
