Renting out Retail Space in my mixed-use building.

Austin Auberg

Hey everyone,

I have a deal on a mixed-use (already zoned appropriately) historical building in Wisconsin that is an off-market deal and that's been empty (used by the owner for storage) for the last 12 years. The outside of the building has been maintained and is structurally sound. It's a great deal and all the chips are in our favor, but I just don't know IF the lower retail space would rent. It's too small to be commercial space 1,750sq. ft., but for retail space, it would be perfect.

How does one go about finding if there is a need for retail space where this building is located? How does one secure a NNN lease from an interested business/renter? I don't even know where to begin.

Please help!

Thank you,

Austin - Wisconsin
