Hello All!

I am very new in real estate investing. I am from MA but look to invest in the Slidell, LA area. I have spoke with a realtor and I am currently in the process of getting approved for a loan. I have asked my realtor to send me notifications about properties that come on the market within my price range and criteria. I have been checking Zillow and other services daily. But the market seems pretty high as of now. Any recommendations as to what steps to take next? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
