Hello! I am new to BP and real estate. Joined in because I'm looking to move out of state and house hack in Austin TX. Guess where I'm coming from (hint: house prices are crazy here). If you haven’t lived here before, I’d recommend renting for 6-12 months before deciding where you may want to buy. After that, house hacking is a good idea either via multiplex or renting out rooms in your home. Welcome to TX!
