Homeowners vs landlord insurance.

I have no properties yet but I am looking and I have a preapproval letter ready.  I am getting the analysis paralysis.  Every time I think I am ready to go something else comes up.  Anyways my question is:  

Do I need Landlord's insurance and Home owners insurance on a rental property? or is just landlord's insurance is enough?
