Newbie Investor from Minneapolis

Hi BP Community!

I am a newbie investor out of Minneapolis looking to grow my portfolio and eventually exit corporate America to manage my own properties using my training as a corporate and business attorney.

I currently own two duplexes, which I acquired through owner occupy purchases. Currently making enough to cover my mortgages but not cash flowing at all. When I purchased the first duplex 24 months ago, I simply wanted to live rent/mortgage free and had no intention at the time of being an investor. But I’d like to be more intentional because I have great properties (beginners luck!), but I know that I have a TON to learn.

My immediate goals are to snag my third multi-family property in the next 6 months or so, and also get the other properties into a cash flowing posture. I so look forward to connecting and learning from everyone!
