Want To Start Real Estate Investing

Hello,
This is my first forum post ever! I wanted to introduce myself and let people know I am interested in investing in real estate. This appears to be a great web site. I have a read a lot of articles and books recently. Unfortunately, I have a tendency to suffer from analysis paralysis and would continue to study the subject forever but never do anything.

So to get the ball rolling I am interesting in networking with people in the greater Denver, CO area who are agents or lenders and possibly mentors as well. My goal is to invest in my first property by the end of this summer.

I am a professional aerospace engineer and know how to write very complex software so if there is anything I can do to give back I would love to talk to you.
