Hello everyone! I am excited to be here and to learn all that I can. I would really like to connect with all that I can and build some relationships and mentors. I have been reading all that I can and have worked with and been mentored by some of the top 1% of entrepreneurs and investors in the country and would really like to continue to connect! I am 25 years old and am highly driven and passionate, but I lack a close community of like-minded people. I still struggle with people thinking that I am too risky and being told that I am not "realistic". But, I am human just like all of the other mentors I have had. So, up to this point I have been mentored on changing my mindset, and I am ready to start learning specific industries now. Real estate development and commercial properties are where my interests are. I know I have a long way to go, but I figure no harm in dreaming. So...
Does anyone have advice for how I can start connecting and surrounding myself with like-minded people?
Are there any groups that meetup in Nashville?
Thanks everyone, and I really look forward to connecting!

Matthew Jones Welcome to BP! You've come to the right place to connect. We have many people on here that are your age, even younger, that are starting out.
First I'd suggest you read the Biggerpockets Guide to Investing, look on the blue bar, top of page, under Learn. Also, fill out the keyword alerts with your city, type of property you're interested in, maybe new investor, young investor or ? whatever you are interested in.
If you can swing it, do the pro basic membership, as it allows you to connect with more colleagues, though it's not necessary, it is the best value you will find from any site.
Have fun. Ask questions, and see you on the forums!
