Newbie in the ATL area

Hi, pretty excited to find this community and i have been listening to the podcasts and I am pumped to start my wealth building via Real Estate. A little about me: 2004 through 2007 I was a licensed RE Agent in MN. Then I got an international job assignment and relocated to Africa for about 6 years. Now we just moved back to the USA and in the ATL area in Feb2013. I want to get back into RE and start investing on rentals / flips to make that extra income.
I am an engineer by profession and I love what I do but i also enjoy and love RE and everything about it. I want to get my GA license and be active in the community to hopefully network with others, learn from others, partner, build, flip etc to get positive results. My family and I currently live in Alpharetta GA but we will moving to Douglasville GA at the end of the summer. Looking forward to the future and its potentials.
Will appreciate any links, suggestions, advise etc.
