Newbie from Virgin Islands

Hi everyone! I'm completely new to investing, but I'm super pumped about getting started! My name is Manikia and I'm a mother of three beautiful girls and one very busy three year old boy. I am a military veteran, so I'm currently using the VA to send me back to nursing school. My husband is still active duty military with about ten more years to go.
I've always wanted to do something in real estate investing, but I've let fear hold me back. I will not let fear win any longer! I want to start with wholesailing. The only problem is I have no clue how to start my buyer's list. I'm certain I will gain a wealth of knowledge from you all. Having a mentor would also be great.
I am currently living in Mississippi, so if anyone knows of any good summits or programs here that I should attend please let me know. I look forward to networking with you all!!!
