New to RE, Northern NJ HouseHack/MultiFam search!!!

Hello BG Universe!!!!!:)

My name is George, I grew up and live in NYC and am looking to make the Post-Covid hop over to sunny Northern NJ!!!! (popular thought process these days)..... I've actually been working toward this goal prior to Covid, saving my pennies bit by bit to put down 20% on a good old-fashioned Conventional Loan (The Great American Dream)...... BUT!!!!! now armed with my BG brethren's wonderful tutelage, I am Much more interested in a House-Hack strategy of a sweet little Multi-Family!!... (with rehab, etc. wherever needed...) 

As mentioned I've been working toward this goal for a while now and have a few towns in mind with friends nearby... If anyone is in a similar situation please feel free to jump in the convo and achieve our goals together... or if you have MultiFam/HouseHack experience with these areas that would obviously be a great help as well...

Looking forward to the BG education for the Long Run!!!!!!!!...
