New RE investor in the Seattle area

Dexter Dauz
Posted

Hi folks! I'm new to the community and new to RE investing. My goal is to do buy and hold with the intention of doing short term rentals to generate cash flow. Currently looking at the Tacoma area which seems more affordable. Looking to connect with investor friendly folks and pros for any tips or advice. Looking forward to chatting more with you.

Welcome @Dexter Dauz to Bigger Pockets! Short Term Rentals are definitely one of the better ways to invest in our market, although the city rentals (in Seattle and Tacoma) still haven't 100% recovered from COVID and slowed travel. BRRRRing, Househacks, and Flips also work really well around here, although they're also not nearly as fun as STR's :).

Looking forward to connecting, cheers,
