New to BP, excited to start house hacking in the Tampa Bay Area

Hello BP community! 
I am glad to join and excited to start my Real Estate journey. My name is Tristan. 
I’m 25 and I live in the Tampa Bay Area (Florida). I have a soon to be 4 year old daughter and really am looking to start house hacking to cut my expenses and hopefully start cash flowing. My lease is up in December 2021 and I would love to be able to purchase a duplex and live in one unit while renting the other, and then expand from there. 
I work at a warehouse making very little and am eager to start building my wealth so I can have something to leave my family. I’m also a musician so having the financial freedom to be able to put more time and effort into my songwriting is also a huge goal for me!

Glad to meet everyone, and looking forward to being a part of this community.
