Newbie from Lansing, IL

Hello All,

My name is Steve Burk, from the south suburbs of Chicago. New to the site and to the world of real estate investing.

Right now my goal is to learn, learn and then learn some more. I work full time right now as a project manager for an engineering/manufacturing firm, and have mainly worked in the industrial construction/engineering field for the past 7 years, but am beginning to get the early onset feelings of burnout.

I have no past expierence in real estate. I've always had an interest, but never really knew where to start so never persued anything.

Coming to BP and perusing the blogs/forums has really opened my eyes that there are other people like me, in the same situation, looking for something new. I hope to learn as much as I can from this site and it's members, as well as contribute as best I can along the way.

I feel like I'm beginning a new journey today and I'm glad to be a new member and I look forward to getting started!
