Columbus, Ohio Newbie

Hello All -

My name is Ben and I'm new around here. I've been reading the site for about a month now and it is amazingly helpful and I look forward to learning more.

I'm just getting started but I know that I'm interested in multi-family homes and using them as a passive source of income. I'm not interested in leaving my job (yet) to do this full time but I would like to own 2-3 places in the next 12-18 months.

I'm also very interested in meeting other individuals who have done or are currently doing similar things in Columbus or central Ohio. I would love to hear about other people's experiences investing in Columbus.

I have only been able to attend one so far, The Columbus Real Estate Buying and Investing Meetup. It was a great experience and I was able to network with people from all categories of the real estate business: real estate lawyers, investers, landlords, rehabbers, wholesalers, etc. You can go introduce yourself, swap business cards, add them to you network and I have contacted many afterwards just with questions about the Columbus market!
