New to investing in the Wilmington, NC area

Hello everyone. My name is Kyle and I'm a Marine Officer currently deployed to Afghanistan. I have been interested in Real Estate since I was in high school, but have been preoccupied the past several years. Upon my return I plan on starting my investment career with small single or multifamily units around the UNC Wilmington campus.

Being active duty, I tend to move a lot (6 times in the last 6 years). So I would love to make contacts with investors around the country, and of course always appreciate friendly advice. Thank you.
