First Bigger Pockets post!
Hello Everyone,
I am excited to be making my first post here on Bigger Pockets! This website has been a fantastic resource for tackling the sharp real estate learning curve. I am looking forward to networking in this community.
Currently I am in the information gathering phase, analyzing deals and learning the market. My goal is to purchase my first property in October 2021. I intend to execute a rent by the room strategy on the north side of Denver. This will be followed by another property in 2022 and so on, with the ultimate goal of being in real estate full time by 2030.
I currently spend my summers with the National Park Service as part of a Wildland Fire suppression resource. Free time is spent outdoors, enjoying the mountains and all that Colorado has to offer.
Thanks for reading, chat soon.

Thanks for the replies! @Jody Sperling, I have a suspicion that you might be right, the 10 year goal leaves a lot of room for acceleration. I do love my day job, but am in no way opposed to increasing the pace of my investing. Just have to get the first one under my belt, then reassess.
@Mike Wadsley, you are spot on, a good property manager is going to be key to this whole endeavour. I am actually currently looking for one in the Denver area who does rent the room management. I will reach out to Craig Curelop, but am open to suggestions if you know of anyone.
