2021 Opportunities in State of Alabama?!!
Hi there real estate enthusiasts!
I was hoping to get some insights on opportunities in the state of Alabama, specifically I have heard good things in Montgomery, Huntsville, Tuscaloosa, Mobile. I have done some background research on these areas but there is no better place to get to know the areas more than to talk to locals and experienced investors! I am an out of state FOREIGN investor, and I was hoping if anyone has good experiences in these areas could give me a shout and take a look at my criteria and see if coming in would be a good fit!👇
Here is my specific situation:
- Budget of 30-40k for the PP & 15-20k for Reno (65%-70% all in ARV)
- Cash Offers
- BRRRR strategy -> Buy & Hold
- SFH/Duplex
Thanks so much!

Huntsville is an exploding market with more growth projected. The FBI Headquarters, The space thing coming in, Mazda Plant coming in... Like what Birmingham was a couple years ago.
Honestly, too much competition for a small fish like me haha. BUT, about an hour North-West is the Quad-cities (where I invest). Muscle Shoals, Tuscumbia, Florence, and Sheffield have yet to feel the full effects of the Huntsville development. Prices are still relatively low and a lot of projected growth mirroring Huntsville.
More of a small pond for guys like me who are in the initial steps of investing.
