Mother wants to move
My mother wants to quit-claim her house to me so she can obtain a reverse mortgage on another house. She owns the house she wants to quit-claim free and clear. The house she wants to quit-claim needs lots of rehabbing so I was thinking I would place it in my llc. Once the rehab is complete I would like to rent it out, however, I think I will sell it since the house is in a gated 55+ community, and it is restrictive on rentals and most occupants would only be seasonal anyways. Any thoughts from anybody as to whether I should proceed as I have described? Also, I am wondering how my llc's taxes will be impacted. Thank you for your responses.
