Hello all, I've been lurking for several days now. Decided I can't stand it anymore so I had to get in gear and join. Now, I'm reading more (BP is a GOLDMINE of information!) and learning more.

I tried investing back in the early-mid 90s and lost my butt due to breaking what I now know is a cardinal rule - 'Never lose control of your money'. Also broke another rule - 'Don't invest outside your planned investment area without EXTRA precautions' lol.

So now I'm getting back in the ring, starting from the bottom. Tired of wishing and hoping, ready to do some doing and make it happen.

I'll be reading more and asking questions soon. Looks like this place is what I've been looking for - just didn't know it till I found it!
