Hey everyone. My name is Whitney and I've become a landlord almost by accident. I live in western NC. I bought my first house back in 2005 and just bought my second house a few months ago. Since the first house is located in a prime downtown location we decided to keep it as a rental rather than put it on the market. I'm in ad sales with a local paper and have built great relationships with realtors and other businesses in my area over the years. The first home rented in less than 2 weeks and is being managed by a property management company I have a great relationship with who gave me a deal on the rates. Now that they is all settled I'm seriously considering what else I can do with real estate in my area. I'm looking into wholesale as a way to raise some capital but I'd prefer buy and hold.
