Howdy y'all,

I am a new Real Estate lover, recently found that passion through asking the question, "How do I better my life in the long term?"

I have always been someone who likes to be challenged to improve and reap the benefits of original thought or hard work. Unfortunately, most of the jobs I've had have not had the balance I needed to satisfy that desire. I've always been left with the desire to improve the businesses I worked for only to find the businesses did not want the input. Leaving me frustrated and unsatisfied for the last several years.

I fell into my first deal out of need. Having to take care of my family led to a multi-family house. Finishing it out with redoing the apartments built into the back of the original structure. It will be a long term hold property. It then led me to consider what else I can do as I began to realize what it was that I had.

I've been reading, listening, and studying about real estate since listening to Rich Dad Poor Dad twice a month ago. I am now learning my local market with the intent to do a couple of flips a year to use the cash to invest into long term hold multi-family real estate with the intent to pay down the mortgages quickly and refinance for great cash flow. I will likely sell those properties every 5-10 years and repeat the processes through 1031.

The current goal is to purchase one long-term hood property per year through my family investments and another through my business endeavor with a partner.

Hi Aaron!
I love the way you started and there aren’t many multi family houses that I’ve seen in the area so kudos to you for finding one and making it work for your situation!! I live in The Woodlands and I’ve done a few wholesale deals in the area! I’m looking to start buying properties to flip soon using some of my own money + hard money 😁 My end goal is to buy and hold enough properties to fund a life of full time travel!
