New To Real Estate Investing

Hi everyone, I am new to REI and loving it. I have had thoughts about doing REI since the beginning of this year but did not really do anything about it and did not pursue it in any way. It has only been in the last couple weeks that I have really started to pursue it with interest. I have been a bigger pockets member since Nov 22 2020. So not that long but I have been devouring information to the point of listening to all of the rookie real estate podcasts and about 15+ of the bigger pockets real estate podcast as well. After the 90 day challenge webinar I became a Pro member because it is such a good investment. I have been reading as well and spend roughly 3+ hours a day on learning about REI. I have started to delve into deal analysis and hoping to at least put an offer on a deal by the end of this year or beginning of next year to keep myself from getting stuck in analysis paralysis.

I am based near Kansas City, MO and going to start out by investing around that market and eventually long distance REI after getting a few under my belt.

My plan is to in, 10 years, have $10,000 a month in cashflow from buy and hold properties.

The reason I am getting into REI is to become financially free, leave a legacy for my children and theirs by creating generational wealth, to also be able to travel the world with my family and live a very full life with my wife and 3 kids.
