Excited Newbie, Ready to Learn

What's up everyone, I stumbled on this website while browsing Google for resources on real estate investing. It seems to be a treasure trove of information, so I'm excited to learn from everyone here!

I'm from San Francisco, used to be an engineer, and have only done passive stock market investing up until now. I'm in the process of applying to medical school and may land anywhere in the country, so I am very interested in investing in a tri-/four- plex with an FHA and living in one of the units wherever I end up.

I want to wish you the best of luck while you apply to medical school. This is such an exciting time. Regardless of where med school takes you, REI will always be a possibility to continue your investments. You can consider out-of-state investing or even investing as a limited partner in apartment syndications. @Sean Luong
