In 2016 I found BiggerPockets the first time and caught the bug HARD. At the time I had been working in residential construction and in my head I told myself that I had all the skills necessary to jump head first into BRRRR. While that may have been true at the time I certainly was in no financial position to be throwing that kind of cash around and given my age and network at the time I didn't see myself being able to convince those in my circle in the position to invest, to invest in me. The fast paced Denver market at the time was extremely discouraging for a newbie just getting his feet wet.

Fastforward

2020, my wife and I bought and moved out of a townhouse into a SFH. The townhouse is rented and performing well. With the help of a couple mentors ,and a pretty good yellow book, I'm learning about the basics of being a land lord. So I figured it was time to jump back on the forum and expand my network. I hope to learn and network as much as possible to help turn this one property into multiple.

My immediate concerns are connecting with a RE minded CPA and finding a local club or circle to network with.

Looking forward to meeting you all.
