Hello BiggerPockets Forum. I am new to the website and a Brand new listener of the podcast as of last week.

About Me: Served 10 years Active duty in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. Recently have been honorably discharged. Have great credit and Zero debt. And a decent saving from my time in. I have the GI bill available and plan to use it to become a real estate agent.

Plan: In my head and on paper i want to take a shot at house hacking, which would involve me looking for a single family home with 3 beds and 2 baths. I would try to get 2 roommates moved in primarily military since I'm familiar with how BAH works.

I am wondering if this is possible without having a full time job or will my VA loan require me to have a job beforehand. I also recently started my own LLC to try and do contract investing with another family member.

Any tips or suggestions or things that might have worked for you guys would be widely appreciated. I'm going into this endeavor like a dry sponge ready to absorb all information given to me.. Thanks for your time.
