HOW TO GET INTO MULTIFAMILY REAL ESTATE AS REALTOR IN CA?

Hey BP family! This is my first post and super thrilled to be part of this insightful and supportive community! I'm pretty new to the world of real estate. I live in Oakland,Ca and I'm expecting to get my real estate sales license in Jan 2021 and will be joining EXP Realty as my broker. I'm very excited to reach this mile stone and embark on my journey to help others generate wealth and achieve my financial independence! While the currently plan is to get my feel wet with single family residential properties, I'm also very interested in commercial and larger multifamily properties both from a sales and investor stance. I've taken a course on Multifamily property analysis on Udemy and have a general grasp of the concepts and lingo. What advise do you have that could help me move more into the commercial and multi family space? Also, do you think it's a good idea to tackle both single family and multi family at the same time as a new salesperson?  Thank you and stay healthy and strong!
