Newbie from Buffalo NY

Really excited to be here, my name is Chris Sullivan from Buffalo New York. Besides the purchase of my home that my family and live in, I do not have any experience in real estate. I have always been interested but have never pushed forward to get started. Since finding Bigger Pockets I have read a few books, listen to podcast, started working with an agent, looked at a few properties to start analyzing the deal and have talked with a bank and an attorney. So I feel that I'm headed in the right direction but I am still trying to wrap my head around all the information. I like all the information but sometimes I feel like its holding me back even more because of the uncertainty of what is the right move.

I currently work as the General Manager of a manufacturing facility. My current real estate goal is to find and close on my first deal in either a rental or flip. Long term goal is to put myself in a financial position through real estate to where I could go full time.

I look forward to continuing my learning here on Bigger Pockets and hope that with a few months or so I will have closed on or in the process of my first deal
