New Investor from Africa

Hello everyone, My name is Lodrick Uronu. I currently reside in Dar-es-salaam, Tanzania, East Africa. I am glad to join the Bigger Pockets forum as a new investor in the market.
Real Estate here in Tanzania is still small but growing rapidly. I am interested to invest some cash into it but i dont know how to start. We have a problem here with finding the genuine land or house to buy in the market. You might find the same house/property being sold to 2 or more people by conmen. Its hard to find out if the sellers are conmen, and i am afraid to loose my money. Please advice.
