new to bigger pockets
New investor -43, wife 3 kids 1st day on bigger pockets - don't even have a Facebook account. Tired of putting into a 401k that may or may not be there when I retire. I have been on the fence for years and over the last 3 months found and closed on 2 SFH. I did not want any headaches with my first deals, so these needed little to no work. Looking to add to portfolio. Very new to the BRRRR method, but am interested in it.
I get stuck on finding contractors I can trust in my area. It seems Im not the only one in need of a dependable and honest contractor. I would have more confidence looking at properties that need rehab work if I had more contacts for such things. I live in Acworth, GA.
My end game is to invest for buy and hold real-estate and replace as much of my W-2 as I can.
