My name is Tyler. I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2009 with a degree in Building Construction and a minor in Real Estate. Since, I've been working as a project manager for a commercial general contractor running tenant fit-out jobs (office and warehouse, mostly). In October, I started working for a property manager/developer in Arlington. We've since started renovating homes. We just finished our first one (not sold yet...) in Washington, DC and there were many lessons learned.

Eventually, I'm hoping to be able to do this myself, without having a boss. It's frustrating to have to follow decisions made by someone else when you don't feel they are the right decision. The plan is to work around here until I can save up some capital, move to a cheaper area (Raleigh seems nice), and start my own projects there.

I happened across this site while looking for info on wholesaling homes, and I'm glad I found it. I should be able to learn a lot here.
