I am in a position I hoped would never happen. Due to the impact of COVID-19 and reduced flying I am being furloughed from my job as an airline pilot. However, I am excited about all the time it has given me to start pursuing other interests and to grow.

The biggest one is real-estate.  I love the bigger-pockets podcast and forums.  I have been learning everything I can about real-estate and have long planned on real estate investing to be my primary future income plan.  Getting furloughed is accelerating that timeline and I am excited to get my feet wet. I am taking the furlough as a sign that I am supposed to use this time to grow myself, learn new skills, and diversify my abilities.

I will be looking for a full-time position hopefully within real estate, and I am considering becoming an agent. It seems to fit my personality, skills, and goals.  I love to work a job where I get to be creative, hard-working, motivated, and help my community. I hope to grow my network in the Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor and surrounding areas.  I would like to begin my own real estate investing and also learn how the sausage is made from every aspect of real estate.  I am approaching this world with an open mind, and a learning attitude.  I want to soak up everything I can, learn from the best, and become a helpful part of my community.

I look forward to connecting with everyone on Bigger Pockets and starting the next exciting chapter of my life.
