Hello BP!

My name is Joe. I am new to real estate investing (although several of my family members are RE investors). My goal for my real estate career is to develop a source of, somewhat, passive income through a long term buy and hold strategy using a mix of long term and short term rentals and a few commercial rentals. I have been learning about real estate for the past 4 years-Listening to BP podcast, reading books, and combing through the forums. I am at the point now where my family and I feel ready to start investing.

I currently live in Morristown, TN (sorry to anybody with a keyword for Morristown, NJ) and I have been looking at the rental markets for the past year here in Tennessee (Morristown and Jefferson City mainly, but also Knoxville, the tri-cities area, and Sevierville/Gatlinburg (STR of course!). The other location of interest that I have is Davenport, FL just south of Orlando. My brother and I are looking at STR in the Solterra subdivision.

I am currently looking for wholesalers, contractors, and property managers in the area above who would like to connect. My plan is to use a BRRRR strategy, but I am planning to start with easier properties upfront (BRRRRlite I guess) and work my way up to more rehab intensive properties.
