First of all I want to say a big thank you to Joshua Dorkin and Brandon Turner as well as all of the other people who have combined efforts to make this website. It is an invaluable asset of knowledge and guidance for someone like me just getting started in real estate.

Here's more about me... I have lived in Colorado my entire life and my family ran an apartment managing and rental leasing company in Colorado Springs. I decided several months ago to go into real estate in either Denver or the Northern Colorado area after reading a few books and finding this website.

I am still deciding exactly which path in real estate I want to follow, but right now I am working on getting my real estate license and my passion for real estate ( it runs in the family) is making me strongly consider going full time as an agent for a few years or longer to learn the basics. My goal for the next 2 or so years is to develop a network and rehab some single family homes. In the long run I would like to establish a business based on rental income.

I am leaving my current job to make real estate my full time career, I have experience in apartment leasing, tenant selection and screening as well as construction including door and window rehab / installation and blind installation. I am looking to network with people in Colorado and would love to meet people who could use my skills to help solve a real estate problem they are having.

Regards,

Davis Van Tilburg
