Hello everyone! My name is Blake Cameron. I am currently a full time student, and just recently transitioned out of the Marine Corps last fall. I became interested in real estate investing after seeing how successful my cousin has been with it, and decided to pursue it. I figured the best way to hop in was to go to work with his company - so I set up a meeting with him, and I'm currently doing general labor and maintenance on his properties with his partner in the Chico, CA area. Right now I'm focusing on learning - I'm reading everything I can on BP, listening to the podcasts, reading books, and I'm going to begin working on my agent license this summer. I don't plan on pursuing that as a job, but I figure it is a great way to introduce myself to the idea of the overall real estate process. I am definitely in the grip of what I assume is beginner excitement - I can't wait to get started! I look forward to interacting with everyone on here, I hope to make some friends and - who knows - maybe some potential partners. We'll see how it goes! Best of luck to everyone.
