New Investor in Greenwood SC

Hi I'm a Newbie investor in the Greenwood SC area. While this is my introduction post I would love to know how and/or to find a local investor meet-up in my area. If I have to travel, I guess I will, but the closest I can find is North Carolina. I'm just learning the site and have a intrest in buy and hold, but am very open to learning all I can. Any help is greatly appreciated.
