Starting out in Boston MA

Hello All -

Just wanted to introduce my self to the community. I have been a long time anonymous reader that was building my knowledge base while I was preparing to jump into REI. Now that I feel more ready to take the plunge, I'm hoping to be more engaged in the community. I'm 26 years old and have a full time job in the IT industry. I'm complacent with what I am doing now but definitely would like to get out of the 9-5 cubicle monkey routine.

I currently live in Boston, MA and own a 3BR condo near a university. I've rent out my spare rooms for about 2 years while I've built up my savings for another property. (Its expensive investing in the Boston area!) I'm hoping to either save up a little more and purchase a multi or get a nice 1BR in a desirable area (use as a future rental) to live in as living with roommates gets less and less appealing as I get older haha...

I hope I can build a better network of individuals to work with on the site and look forward to contributing in the near future!
