Newbie from Israel - Looking to start investing in the USA
Hey BP Community,
My name is Ofer Gazit. I'm 49 from Israel. For those of you who don't know Israel, let me just say it's far away from the USA but close at heart.
I have diversify education and experience: I'm a lawyer (not practicing it for the last few years), a veteran business administration bachelor, a chef (Yep… learned professional cooking and worked as a cook and as a privet chef for some time) and for the last 15 years I'm the co-owner and CEO of Pil Animation Ltd., a leading Israeli animation studio and enjoying life with my amazing wife and 4 kids.
I've been always fascinated by Real-Estate but had a fear that it's not for me. Maybe some of you knows what I'm talking about.
However, recently I started reading and reading, attending webinars, watching videos and TV programs and just can't stop thinking about it from the moment I wake up and till I fall asleep (actually it's not true… I realized I'm dreaming about it too).
So, after all of this I decided to stop dreaming and start DOING! I still don't know enough but I'm a learner (and usually a quick one) and I see me joining this amazing community as the first 'taking action' step.
I put myself a short-term goal of becoming a long-distance owner of my first USA rental / flipping / wholesaling Real Estate property within the next 9 months. My plan is to deepen my knowledge and making new friends, partners and over whole networking within the BP community, and OF COURSE giving back to the community in whatever way I can.
My long-term goal is to be able to focus all my attention in USA Real Estate investments within the next 7 years.
I invite all of you to reach out to me. It would be a honor and pleasure to meet each and every one of you. Please remember we have a huge time difference (7 hours to EDT and 10 hours to PDT, so please understand if I can't response immediately).
Of course, if anyone I might be of assistance to you, please don't hesitate to contact me and I'll do my best helping you.
Looking forward to meeting!
-Ofer
