Intro - Absorbing Everything (North Jersey)

Hey all, I stumbled upon this site after getting lost into a rabbit hole of Youtube videos a couple of months ago and immediately related to the majority of people on the videos, podcasts, and this forum.  I have always had an interest in real estate investing and have been aggressively saving the last few years for a downpayment on my first rental property.

Currently looking for a duplex so I can live in and house hack, but currently having a hard time finding decent options in North Jersey.  I am not in a rush at the moment but ideally would like to invest in my first property by next summer.

I hope to be able to meet/talk to some of you like-minded people in the near future as I progress in my journey into finding my first property.
