Northeast Tennessee Newcomer Looking to Start Networking

Hello Bigger Pockets!

My name is Dave Alessandria. I'm currently active duty in the Navy and will likely be transitioning out of the Navy in the Spring of 2021 and moving out to NE Tennessee (I'm currently stationed in VA). I only currently own one rental, but I plan on devoting a lot of my time (possibly all of it, if I can make it work) to REI, mainly with buy and hold strategies like BRRRR. Being new to the area I'm looking to try to start cultivating relationships and making contacts through the magic of the internet. I'd love to start meeting people and discussing where we can help each other out and improve both of our opportunities. I have a lot of experience in home upkeep and have conducted a few moderate renovations in my homes to date including building a full bathroom out of a corner of a converted garage, and converting an old conventional boiler system into a modern, high-efficiency tankless combination boiler that uses 1/3 of the energy and takes up 1/10 the space and all of the plumbing, electrical, and framing, drywall, tiling etc. that went along with those jobs so I'd be more than happy to offer services to anyone needing help with property management, handyman, or rehab work. Is there any established community in the area? I look forward to making contact and eventually meeting other folks in the area like other investors, lenders, handymen, property managers, wholesalers, and anyone else. Thanks for reading this, and sorry it was so long. I'm just excited to begin the new chapter.
