Getting over fears and indecisiveness

Posted

Hello Everyone. At 32 I know I definitely want to get into real estate investing. I've been researching for over 10 years, lol I know. I wanted to go all the way in on flipping houses, then I wanted to just wholesale, then I wanted to find multi-family,a and rent. Now at 32, and after watching Ashley Hamilton which is such an inspiration, I'm ready to start investing. I live in a over-saturated city and seeing all these investors come in and raise rent rates so high it has put the homeless rate at an all time high. I believe land is low to entry but something I can build capital faster to then go back to investing in homes and making thing more affordable to income rate This post is kind of all over the place, hence my mind frame. For over 10 years I've wanted to do so many BIG things. It's so hard to start small, and just get started. Also knowing I need to obtain money before I can turn this in to a more philanthropy aspect. I love that I have found this forum. Any help and advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi Christian,

If you're interested in housing people from a philanthropic aspect, It might be fulfilling to get involved with a local homeless help non-profit or government agency.

I say this because the efforts of many are more powerful than the efforts of one. Like in football, if one team has only one player and the other has a full field of players--the more people team will win.

In short, your efforts (combined with the efforts of others) might be more powerful (help more people) than going it alone.

And you can make a lot of like minded friends along the way.

Guys like Tony don't make things happen all by themselves--they team up with others: https://www.feedingamerica.org/about-us/partners/current-promotions/1-billion-meals

Good Luck!
