NEWBIE REAL ESTATE INVESTOR -NASHVILLE
Hello Everyone!
I've been scouting this site for some time now and finally decided to join! I've learned alot from the Bigger Pockets community and it has blown me away thus far!
Here is a little about me:
I'm 23 yrs old from Los Angeles, CA and I've lived in Nashville for about 5 years now. I attended a local university here and I launched my first company last october of 2012. I currently work in law and plan to attend law school fairly soon. Eventhoughvmy studies have mostly been about business and law, I've always wanted to get involved and learn about real estate!
Needless to say, I guess now I'm being honest enough with myself to learn more about it! I mean who wouldn't lke to generate revenue, build wealth and not have to punch the clock as much?
I would like to begin wholesaling properties in the Nashville market and eventually own multiple single/multi-family homes to invest in and sale.
Haven't seen too many investors from Nashville posting to forums about the current market and its trends so I thought I should jump out there and introduce myself! I'm looking for a mentor so to speak, or a partner whom could inform me of the common mistakes newbies make or where to begin. Like where to find an invesor friendly attorney that handles investor closings? What title/escrow company wholesalers are using currently? Common legal concerns when investing in nashville properties? The best areas to invest in or watch for?
Thanks again to BiggerPockets and its members for providing a great place to interact and learn so much about real estate, especially for a newbie!
I look forward to networking with you guys!
