Realtor/Newbie investor in Milwaukee motivated for success!!
Hello all! I'm not new to the site-although it's been ages since I've been in here! I just wanted to introduce myself properly.
I'm a 35 year old single mom of 2; been a Realtor for over 2 years, and self-educated myself through books & videos on RE Investing. The thing is, to be honest, I have a unique learning style (otherwise known as A.D.D) that makes it hard for me to learn simply by reading or watching a webinar (my attention/focus dies after about 10 minutes). I would like to find someone trustworthy who I can learn from, shadow, etc. I learn from DOING!!
I want to get out there & do it! I'm motivated, quick learner, and have many skills as it is (basic photography/videography, creating fliers, etc.)
Right now, I'm needing to network with other investors; help them make some deals so that I can make money to better MY credit/financial position to invest. I keep HEARING about these deals where you can flip houses with no money, but I'm not sure if that is truly possible. Plus, I'm "guru'd" out! I've read about these RE gurus who make hundreds of thousands of dollars doing it... but is it possible FOR ME??
Not only that, I'm a renter who keeps running into crappy landlords, and just want a place of our own! I have certain health issues that make it difficult for me to do a "9 to 5", and plus I LOVE real estate. I want something that can bring in $$ to where I can care for my family, not depend on assistance, and LIVE-travel, invest, enjoy life AND my kids!
Ok... I think that's enough for now.

Welcome back to BP! I also have never heard of this before, in fact both my business partner and I are licensed agents and real estate investors.
What have you found to be the best way to learn since it is difficult for you to sit and read a bunch of information? Would it be helpful for you to sit and take "practice" scenarios and analyze the deals? Being able to determine if a certain property at a certain price is a deal is one of the most crucial skills an investor can have, so you need to figure out how you can best learn how to perform analysis.
There have been hundreds of posts on BP where investors ask if a certain project is a good deal or not, so perhaps going through those threads might help you exercise your own analysis skills.
It is good to have you back on board...stick around this time. Let BP nation know how they can help and I am sure you will find what you are looking for.
