New Investor, likely buy and hold but looking to diversify

Hi, I'm a new-ish investor trying to get a bit more serious about my plans.  I have previously had two properties which I originally bought to live in, then kept after moving and rented out.  I recently sold one and refinanced the other, to have about $600k with which I'm hoping to investing more seriously.  This is a side hobby for me, as I have a day job outside of the US, so I'm focusing on a buy and hold strategy which will give me a reasonable combination of cashflow and appreciation, while using local management companies to limit my time commitment.  I'm currently focusing on B and A properties in the Atlanta suburbs.

However, I'd also be interested in networking, as well as just learning more about what I'm doing here.  This seems like a great resource, and I'm really happy to have run across it!
